23rd January 2022 - Do not grow weary

Welcome to our online service. This service includes some of the elements from our in person service for those who are not able to make it at 11am. We'd encourage you to begin to come back to our in person services if you can. The opportunity to meet together is good for us and helps us on our Christian journey together.

If you are coming in person, please wear a mask. Although rules are relaxing at the end of next week, we would encourage you to keep doing so whilst rates of Covid are higher to keep things safe for everyone.

Coming Up

Our midweek activities are all open this week and the church building is open for you to drop in between 9.30 and 2 Monday-Thursday. The cafe is open on Tuesday and Wednesday:

Crafty Needles - 10am - 12pm Tuesday

Chatterbox Stay and Play - 1.15pm - 2.45pm Tuesday

Poppy Cafe (mental health group) - 10am - 12pm

Bible Study

Our Monday evening Bible Study continues at 8pm on zoom (please contact us for a link). We will be doing the Prayer Course 2 - Unanswered prayer. All are welcome to attend.

Worship

Call to Worship (Isaiah 40:28-31)

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Songs for Today

Here are the songs for today. You might want to play the last two before and after the sermon
